There is now an untethered jailbreak out, if you want to see how to do it, I uploaded it to my channel.
@Xenocide71 Yes, you can do that without a problem. Your jailbreak will be wiped out when you update. You simply have to jailbreak with Redsn0w. Check my 5.0.1 and 5.0.1 jailbreak video on my channel. Cheers!
Hi! I’ve used this method to jailbreak my device a few months back and now I want to update it to the 5.0.0 IOS. My question to you is, can I update my device to the official IOS 5.0.0 directly from this 4.3.5 tethered jailbreak and then jailbreak the newer version using redsnow?

@anamariecortez Yes you can, the unlock doesn’t affect the jailbreak. Simply follow the steps and you will be fine!

hi, i have a problem…this tethered right?so i need to reboot this and use redsnow everytime i open the iDevice..so is there already a release of the untethered version of redsnow so i won’t have to use it everytime it lowbats, and will it affect the jailbreak i did before?
